My dream vacation: The Library Hotel

Note to self:

You simply MUST take a vacation at The Library Hotel in NYC.

The Library Hotel has ten floors, and each floor matches a category of the Dewey Decimal System.

The ten floors of The Library Hotel are:

  • 3-Social Sciences
  • 4-Languages
  • 5-Math & Science
  • 6-Technology
  • 7-The Arts
  • 8-Literature
  • 9-History
  • 10-General Knowledge
  • 11-Philosophy
  • 12-Religion

Rooms are equipped with books and art matching topics within the floor’s category.

I need to save up, for a long time, because one night’s stay at The Library Hotel can run between $500-$800.

Sigh.

  5. I had no idea a place like this (Cough heaven cough) existed. Although I may be kicked out for wandering into others rooms to see what books were in there…

  6. adlawrence: It’s on my list of places to go if I win the lottery :) Thanks for the comment. Like you, I would want to sneak into other rooms.

  7. One of the key factors in having a truly enjoyable beach vacation is choosing the right beach hotel. Your budget need not be a reason to limit yourself to some sleazy, hole-in-the-wall type of hotel, or a mediocre bed and breakfast inn.
